I called for what was suppose to be a simple connection of my sink and toilet, and a hot water heater. Joe came, and we looked at everything. My bathroom wall was open (not finished yet with sheetrock). Joe looked at my old cast iron waste drain pipes, and suggested now might be a good time to replace them, before putting up new sheetrock. I knew they were old, and rusty, but such a big job to replace them. I had never considered it before, though they have been there since 1947. I agreed, and he gave me a very fair price for the job. I never imagined he would be able to get this all done by himself (though I helped where I could). He installed the new hot water heater with no problem, and the sink connections, and removed the toilets in both the upstairs and downstairs bathroom so he could attack the old cast iron pipes. He went at it with a diamond blade, and a sledge hammer. and I was amazed to see the skill with which he dismantled these old huge pipes. Carefully breaking this old cast iron in pieces to remove it. He spent the whole day at the house, and got the job done beautifully. New waste drain installed in the whole house. He fixed a toilet leak, which he found was a hairline crack and I went and bought a new toilet. All in all, I would use Joe again if I ever needed a plumber. Honestly, over the years, I have used Speedy Rooter several times, and every time, I was very pleased with the plumbers they sent, and the work they did. Being able to get a plumber right away, without scheduling weeks in advance is a very nice bonus. Speedy Rooter does the right thing. Thank you so much Joe !!!
