I had a very old furnace in my house and after receiving a useless diagnosis from Thompson Heating and air conditioning (they charged me $80 to tell me nothing was wrong but that it is getting old and should be replaced), I decided to shop around for a new one. Thompson's and Greeley's gave me virtually identical quotes for a new one, and Ellingson's estimate was 20% higher than both of those. I didn't want to spend anything at all at the time, and Greeley's offered me a very inexpensive temporary solution that helped me get by until I was ready for a new one. They made an appointment for a new install and completed it on schedule. The communication through the process was fantastic (I mentioned to them several times that I do not speak HVAC at all, so they were patient with all of my stupid questions). When they completed the job they hauled away my old unit and cleaned up after themselves. I did have one very minor issue later on and they responded instantly and made the correction. I have some other projects that will need to be done eventually, and I will definitely be calling them first from now on.
